CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Public Library will be collecting new hats, gloves and mittens for local children from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30.
The collection is sponsored by the RSVP, a retired and senior volunteer program in Clearfield County. The RSVP project is to “help make a child’s world warmer” this winter.
The hats, gloves and mittens will be distributed to local human service agencies to be distributed to local children throughout the county. The library would appreciate help in collecting these items for the local children.
Items can be dropped off at the library during regular hours, which are 12:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday.
The library utilizes RSVP volunteers and is a United Way member agency.
