- An incident of harassment occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. Friday at a Brandy Camp Road residence in Fox Township. A known 48-year-old Kersey woman allegedly grabbed a 49-year-old Kersey woman by the neck and told her to leave the residence. The victim fled the scene. No charges will be filed, as the victim chose not to prosecute.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Friday on Main Street in Fox Township. Someone entered a 56-year-old Kersey woman’s residence and removed a 13-year-old male tabby cat named Lucky. - A two-vehicle accident occurred at 11:08 a.m. Thursday on Fairview Road in Fox Township. Janice L. Pfeufer, 62, of St. Marys operated a U.S. mail delivery vehicle and stopped along the right-hand shoulder to deliver mail. A vehicle operated by John W. Rickard, 76, of Kersey was traveling northbound on Fairview Road when its right, front corner impacted the left, rear corner of the Pfeufer vehicle. The Pfeufer vehicle was pushed forward approximately 21 feet, while the Rickard vehicle continued northbound for approximately 210 feet before coming to a rest partially on the northbound berm. State police were assisted by the Fox Township Fire Police. Pfeufer was injured; however, the severity wasn’t known by state police. Rickard was cited for careless driving through the district court.
- An incident of DUI occurred at 2:06 a.m. Sunday on state Route 1004 in Johnsonburg Borough. State police conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle operated by a 37-year-old Johnsonburg man. After preliminary investigation, state police arrested the man for DUI and transported him for blood testing at the Elk Regional Health Center. Charges are to be filed for DUI and related summary traffic violations through the district court.
