No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the Ginter Mountain Highway in Gulich Township. Aaron P. Reifer, 27, of Houtzdale fell asleep while driving northbound at which point his vehicle traveled off the east berm. There, it overturned onto its passenger’s side. It came to a final rest near the intersection of Miller Road on its side, facing north. Reifer was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was cited for careless driving.
An incident of burglary occurred at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at a Brown Hollow Road residence in Goshen Township. The victim reported that various hand tools were stolen from a private garage; the tools were valued at $600. The investigation is continuing at this time.
