Winter Coats Sought for Annual CPCA Project

CLEARFIELD – Central Pennsylvania Community Action (CPCA) has announced its sixth annual “Winter Coat Project.” This program distributes winter garments to low and moderate income families in Clearfield County.

CPCA is seeking donations of clean, gently-used and new winter coats for all age groups for the Winter Coat Project. The CPCA will be accepting gently-used and new coats for children and adults at their Clearfield office, which is located at 214 E. Cherry St., Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

There is an increased need for donations this year, as more and more families are finding themselves turning to these types of programs for help.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

CPCA is specifically seeking coats for children of all sizes and large and extra-large women’s and men’s coats. CPCA also accept gloves, hats and scarves of all sizes.

If you are in need a winter coat or know of a family in need of winter coats, please contact Julie Collins at (814)765-1551 or (800)822-2610.
