LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A first alarm structure fire occurred at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday on Franks Lane and remains under investigation at this time, according to the Lawrence Township Police Department.
The Lawrence Township Fire Department gained control of the fire. The fire’s nature appears to be suspicious, police said.
Pennsylvania State Police’s Fire Marshal and Accelerant Detection Canine responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. The fire’s origin remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
“All involved law enforcement agencies are proceeding as if the fire is a criminal investigation until proven otherwise,” police said.
