An incident of theft occurred at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Philipsburg-Osceola Area Senior High School in Philipsburg Borough. An 18-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly removed a 17-year-old Philipsburg girl’s purse from her locker. The man then allegedly discarded the purse after removing a Vera Bradley wallet that contained $11 in U.S. Currency, a credit card for a local business establishment and a CNB bank card. All items were recovered except for the wallet and credit card. The total value of the stolen/recovered items was estimated at $116. Charges will be filed.
