Albert C. Pry, 82, of Clearfield died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital. He was born April 15, 1930, the son of Joseph C. and Beulah B. (Rowles) Pry.
Mr. Pry was a member of the Clearfield Creek Rifle Club, Curwensville Moose Lodge #268 and the Brothers of the Bush.
He had retired from Crescent Brick Company.
Mr. Pry is survived by five children, Judy Truchanowicz and her husband, Richard and Diane Reams, all of Curwensville, Albert J. “Joe” Pry and his wife, Patricia “Lori” of Clearfield, Tim Pry and his fiancé, Bonnie of Montgomery and Terry Pry and his wife, Diane of DuBois; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Paul L. Pry and his wife, Dee, the Rev. Kenneth R. Pry and his wife, Carole and Joseph W. Pry and his wife, Sandra, all of Mineral Springs, and Samuel E. Pry and his wife, Dolores of Cherry Tree and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma (Knepp) Pry; a daughter, Jeanne Cutler; two infant daughters; three sisters, Cleda Royer, Bessie Brown and Sarah Lumadue; and two brothers, Richard W. Pry and David A. Pry.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with his brother, the Rev. Kenneth Pry officiating. Burial will be in the Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
