Abby J. Sabatine, 22, 463 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, is charged with manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, intentional possession of a controlled substance, and criminal use of communication facility in two cases. Her bail is $10,000, unsecured in each case.
The charges stem from incidences in Aug of 2011. According to the affidavit of probable cause in the first case, an informant who was working with police told an officer Sabatine agreed to sell 23 vicodin pills for $90. She said she was getting the script filled at a grocery store pharmacy and they were to meet her there.
After a delay, they returned to the lot with the officer parking next to Sabatine’s car. She exited her vehicle, walked over and gave her purse to the informant. She told them the pills were in a bottle in the purse. The informant found the bottle and the officer put $90 in the purse to pay for them. The purse was then given back to Sabatine.
In the second case from Aug. 25, 2011, an informant was told that Sabatine could sell 40 oxycodone pills for $900. They met with her outside a residence in DuBois. The informant took $900 from the officer and walked to the residence where Sabatine was on the porch. After the informant gave her the money, she put something in his pants pocket. The informant then returned to the vehicle and gave the officer a plastic bag with several blue oxycodone pills.
