Homecoming game set for noon kick Oct. 6 on ESPN

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s 93rd Homecoming game, this year vs. Northwestern, will kick at noon Eastern time on Saturday, Oct. 6. ESPN will televise the Varsity "S" Day contest to a national audience from Beaver Stadium.

The Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com will begin coverage of the Penn State-Northwestern game at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Penn State (3-2) and Northwestern (4-0) will be meeting for the 16th time since the Nittany Lions began Big Ten Conference competition in 1993.

The announcement of the Northwestern kick brings the total of known Penn State start times and television information to eight for this season.

The other known kick times for Coach Bill O’Brien’s Nittany Lions are Oct. 20 at Iowa (7 p.m. CT, BTN) and Oct. 27 Penn State White Out vs. Ohio State (6 p.m., ESPN/2).

Additional Penn State kick times will be announced as part of the Big Ten’s 6/12-day selection process with its TV partners.
