Allen M. Brown, 66, of Flinton died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1946 in Lock Haven, a son of Daisey R. (Stamm) Brown of Lock Haven and the late Robert L. Brown.
Mr. Brown was a graduate of the Penns Valley High School. He was first employed as a cook for the Penn State University and later as the manager of My-O-My Lounge of State College. He retired from Kitko Wood Products of Glen Hope.
On March 30, 1967, in Centre Hall, he married Lucille A. (Klingler) Brown, who survives of Flinton. He’s survived by two daughters, Angela Powell and her husband, Richard of Cherry Tree and Shirley Dixon and her husband, Grant of Osceola Mills.
He’s also survived by two grandchildren, Miranda Powell and Allen “Zeke” Dixon; three brothers, Robert Brown and his wife, Lucille of Coburn; Dwayne Brown and his companion, Deb and Daniel Brown and his wife, Brenda, all of Lock Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Gary Brown and a sister, Toni Brown.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Sandy Hommer officiating.
