DUBOIS – There will be a book signing and reading for Thom Thomas’ new book from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 and again from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday Sept. 29 at Stews Brews Coffeehouse in DuBois.
Reviews of this new work have been quite encouraging, according to Thomas. One review gives some detail on the book’s topic, saying “I highly recommend … ‘give or take a pebble.’ Thomas takes over where Dickens left off. This is the continuation of the lives of Ebenezer Scrooge and the Cratchits.
“Thomas has the ability to pull you into the story to the point one can almost hear the wagon wheels on the cobbled streets and the smell of Breadstique’s brewing coffee and fresh bread. I had a hard time putting it down. And now the hardest part is waiting for the next book in the series. There will be a discount on the book for any student who produces student ID. The signing will be at Stew’s Brew Coffeehouse in downtown DuBois, across from DuBois Public Library.
