- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 4:30 a.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday on East Spruce Street in Philipsburg Borough. An Osceola Mills man entered a Philipsburg man’s residence and removed items from inside as well as took the victim’s vehicle. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- A hit-and-run accident occurred at 4:21 Monday on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. A Chevrolet Trailblazer was parked unattended while an unknown vehicle was traveling westbound and struck the driver’s side mirror of the parked vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene without stopping.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime between Sept. 1 and Sunday in Philipsburg Borough. Someone removed a small metal table and two chairs from an 80-year-old Philipsburg woman’s trailer porch. They also removed a ladies bicycle. The estimated value of the stolen items is $95. - A 46-year-old Tyrone man was arrested for incident of DUI and false identification to law enforcement that occurred at 3:45 p.m. Sunday during a traffic stop on Interstate 99 at mile marker 56.8 in Taylor Township.
