Doris C. McGhee, 86, of Clearfield was united with her Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 17, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was born March 16, 1926 in Philipsburg and was the daughter of Alexander and Maud (Crago) Campbell.
She graduated in 1949 from the Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. She worked at the Clearfield Hospital as a radiologic technologist for 26 years, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church and the West Side United Women. She was a volunteer for Clearfield Hospice.
She’s survived by three children, Paul G. McGhee and his wife, Wendy of Michigan; David D. McGhee of Cape Canaveral, FL; and Alexa L. Cummings and her husband, Dan of Grampian.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Eric Cummings and his wife, Hope, Adam Cummings and his wife Christina, Stephen McGhee and his wife, Jenifer, Elizabeth Stuart and her husband, Charles and Andrew McGhee, eight great-grandchildren and a brother, David Wesley Campbell and his wife, Patricia of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harry W. and Robert R. Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with the Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
