Kathleen Elizabeth Harris, 71, of Hepburnia died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at the home of her daughter Carolyn Bryan.
BornApril 24, 1941in Carnwath, she was the daughter of John and Faye (Hunt) Litzinger. Mrs. Harris was a caregiver and a homemaker. She was a member of the Mormon Church in Philipsburg and a member of the Red Hats of the Henry Meyers Towers in Clearfield.
Surviving are four children, Debra Darlene Harris of Clearfield; James Harris Jr. and his wife, Amy of Olanta; Carolyn D. Bryan and her husband, Troy of Grampian; and William Scott Harris and his wife, Gladys of Curwensville. Also surviving are four step-children, Judy Wertz and her husband, Dave and William Gray, both of Altoona; Thomas Gray of Osceola Mills; and Randy Gray of Maryland.
In addition, she is survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Litzinger of New Millport, Jean Ogden and her husband, Richard of Clearfield and Larry Saltzgiver and his wife, Helen of Patton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl and Joseph Litzinger; a sister, Carol Lansberry; and her companion, Thomas Gray.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with Mr. Robert Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
