Clearfield Remembers 9/11 on 11th Anniversary

CLEARFIELD – A memorial ceremony honored service men and women and remembered the Sept.11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America on the 11^th anniversary Tuesday morning at the courthouse square.

The county’s memorial flag was raised during the ceremony and will fly today at half-staff with a new American flag until sunset. The memorial flag will be brought down and placed back on display.

A memorial wreath of red, white and blue carnations was presented and placed before the Sept. 11 memorial stone at the courthouse.
