RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 12:15 p.m. Saturday along Montmorenci Road in Ridgway Township, according to the Ridgway-based state police.
Andrew L. Buehler, 51, of Ridgway was traveling southbound and stopped to make a left-hand turn into a private driveway. Jeffery O. Buhler, 44, of Ridgway failed to observe the Buehler vehicle stopped.
The Buhler vehicle rear-ended the Buehler vehicle. After impact, the Buehler vehicle traveled off the roadway into a yard, where it came to a rest. The Buhler vehicle came to a rest in the southbound lane of Montmorenci Road.
Neither Buehler nor Buhler was injured in the mishap. Both were wearing their seatbelts. Buhler was cited for careless driving.
State police were assisted with traffic control by the Ridgway Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
