Obituary Notice: Raymond E. Hutton

Raymond E. Hutton, 73, of Philipsburg died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born July 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Wilks) Hutton. He was protestant by faith.

Mr. Hutton served as a bartender for 40 years for various establishments in the Philipsburg and Osceola Mills areas until retiring.

He married the former Barbara K. Wilsoncroft on Sept. 12, 1964 in Philipsburg. She preceded him in death Aug. 16, 2009.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a step-mother, Ida Jordan Hutton, a step-father, Michael Zaranec, a granddaughter, Cassandra Nichole Hutton and two brothers, Clarence E. and Donald L. Hutton.

Mr. Hutton was survived by two sons, Ronald L. Hutton of Chester Hill and Raymond K. Hutton and his wife, Alicia of West Decatur and one daughter, Michelle Teats and her husband, Chris of Bigler.

Also surviving are one brother, Kenneth Hutton of North Bennington, VT; four grandchildren and step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with the Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
