- A verbal domestic dispute and possible DUI occurred in Hyde. Police made contact with the person and determined he wasn’t intoxicated.
- A traffic complaint was reported on Antes Hill Road and the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway. Police stopped one vehicle and cited the operator.
- Police assisted another agency in attempting to locate a stolen vehicle.
- A disabled motorist was assisted along state Route 879.
- A fire ring theft is being investigated by police after it occurred on Carbon Mine Road.
- A disabled vehicle located on private property was reported to police.
- An incident of theft and criminal mischief is being investigated by police after it occurred on Turnpike Avenue. Over the past couple nights, solar lights have been stolen from a resident’s yard. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lawrence Township police.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with locating and recovering a stolen pick-up truck. The truck had broken down and police returned keys to the owner. Borough police are handing the incident for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
- A residential burglar alarm was reported to police and responding officers found the residence secure.
- Police checked the welfare of a local man after he’d allegedly overdosed on pills and barricaded himself inside his residence with a firearm. The man refused to communicate with police as well as Clearfield County Control and crisis personnel. Police entered the man’s residence and secured him. He was subsequently transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a medical evaluation.
- Police handled a disorderly conduct incident without filing criminal charges.
