CLEARFIELD – Temporary lane restrictions will be in place next week on Interstate 80 in Clearfield and Centre counties. Dates and locations are listed below:
- Monday, Aug. 27 in Centre County:
The westbound off-ramp at exit 158, Milesburg, will be closed from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and westbound motorists will not be able to exit I-80 at the 158/Milesburg ramp during that time.
Westbound drivers wanting to exit at 158 will instead exit at the 161/Bellefonte interchange and follow I-99/26/220 to Route 220 to Route 150.
The southbound lane of state Route 150 underneath the I-80 bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for crane placement.
The westbound right lane at mile-marker 158 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 28 in Clearfield County:
The westbound right (travel) lane at mile-marker 106, Anderson Creek, will be closed from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 29 in Clearfield County:
The eastbound right (travel) lane at mile-marker 106, Anderson Creek, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 30 in Centre County:
The I-80 eastbound on-ramp at exit 158, Milesburg, will be flagged during saw cutting operations.
The eastbound right lane at mile-marker 158 will be closed from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Motorists should be alert for the lane closures and the potential for slowed traffic in these areas. Updated traffic information will be available to motorists on PennDOT’s message boards and on the Highway Advisory Radio System (HARS) at 1640 on the am dial.
All work is weather dependent. Drivers may wish to use alternate routes during the lane and ramp closures.
