Cecelia E. Marino, 95, of Aurora, OH and formerly of DuBois, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at the Kensington Care Center in Aurora, OH.
Born June 29, 1917 in Helvetia, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Lottie (Wladyslowa) Vesnesky.
On Oct. 14, 1945, she married Amada Salvador Marino. He preceded her in death April 6, 2006.
She was employed at an electronics factory during World War II and later worked at a shoe factory in Big Run.
She was a member and a volunteer at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
She was a seamstress. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting and playing bingo.
She is survived by two children, Frank D. Marino of Santa Barbara, CA and Mary Katherine Starling of Chagrin Falls, OH and two grandchildren, Christopher Starling and Carolyne Starling, both of Chagrin Falls, OH.
She was preceded in death by all her siblings, Sophia Wojastazek, Joseph Vesnesky, John Vesnesky and Mary “Babe” Kruzelak.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church located at 301 South State St. in DuBois, with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery following the Mass.
