WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 9:12 p.m. Sunday at Henderson Street’s intersection with Atlantic Avenue in Woodward Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported.
Denise A. Potter, 35, of Clearfield was traveling northbound when she failed to stop at the intersection. Her vehicle then traveled onto the west berm and struck a tree.
Potter’s passenger, an 8-year-old Clearfield girl, sustained minor injuries. Potter wasn’t injured. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. Potter will be cited for a stop sign violation.
State police were assisted by the Houtzdale Fire Company.
