- At approximately 11:55 p.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old Philipsburg man violated an emergency protection from abuse order after arriving at a North Ninth Street residence. Upon arrival, he allegedly kicked open the door, entering the residence unlawfully and attempting to retrieve his children. He then allegedly engaged in physical altercation with the residents and left on foot prior to police arrival. He returned later at which time he was apprehended and lodged in the Centre County Jail. He’s awaiting arraignment for the PFA violation, burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, harassment, terrorist threats, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
- State police received a wallet that was found at 12 p.m. Friday along the Old Erie Pike in West Decatur. The wallet contained a state driver’s license belonging to Autumn Shoemaker of Mill Hall. It can be claimed by contacting the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- An all-terrain vehicle was stolen sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday at a North 10th Street residence in Philipsburg Borough. Someone entered a 66-year-old Philipsburg man’s garage located at the rear of his property and removed a 2005 Suzuki LTA 700 King Quad ATV. The ATV was pushed from the garage, through the man’s yard, across a neighbor’s property and then onto North 10th Street. The ATV was green-colored with a hand-made aluminum rack on the rear; it had a warn winch on the front. The ATV had an estimated value of $4,800. The investigation is continuing at this time.
