Judge Sets Trial Date in Curley, Schultz Cases

HARRISBURG – Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Todd A. Hoover has set a trial date in the matters of the Commonwealth’s cases against Timothy Mark Curley and Gary Charles Schultz.

Hoover, in a scheduling order signed late yesterday, set jury selection for Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, with trial to commence immediately thereafter. 

The order also grants Curley’s motion to join in Argument IV of Schultz’s reply and set deadlines for responses, motions to sever and other pretrial motions, and responses to pretrial motions.

Curley, Penn State University’s former athletic director, and Schultz, PSU’s former vice president, are charged with perjury related to sexual assault allegations against former PSU defensive football coach Jerry Sandusky.
