State Police Probing Butler Trucking Theft

BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based state police are continuing their search for those responsible for an incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition that occurred July 13 at Butler Trucking in Bradford Township.

On the date in question, the suspect(s) arrived at the parking lot of Butler Trucking and removed a flatbed semi-trailer loaded with five, high-grade stainless steel ingots. The ingots were eight to 10 feet in length and valued at $73,767.

Video surveillance shows that suspects arrived at Butler Trucking in a white-colored truck tractor that’s possibly a freightliner. On July 19, the trailer was recovered in Bedford, but the load had been removed.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
