DUBOIS – The DuBois City Democratic Committee will be holding a “Meet the Candidates” event for the public at 7 p.m. tonight at The America Legion Post, 315 Liberty Blvd., DuBois.
The event will give the public a chance to meet and hear from Democrats who are running for various state and national offices in the fall general election. A representative from Kathleen Kane’s campaign for Attorney General has been added to the event, in addition to previously confirmed speakers which include, Eugene DePasqaule, candidate for Auditor General and Charles Dumas, candidate for the 5th Congressional District.
In addition, there will be representatives for Mark McCracken, candidate for 74th House District and for President Barack Obama’s campaign. McCracken had previously been scheduled to attend a meeting of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania that day.
Light refreshments will be available. The event is free to the public.
