Pipe work makes daytime closure and detour necessary
CLEARFIELD – Pipe work will close Route 3015, Naulton Road, near Curwensville for three weeks starting Wednesday, Aug. 8. Work was previously expected to start on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
The road closure is about two miles northwest of Curwensville. PennDOT pipe work will be taking place between Shadybrook and Ridge Avenue extension. Approximate work hours are set for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Drivers will be detoured from Route 3015 during the day and directed to use Route 3013, Ridge Avenue/Ridge Avenue Extension, and Route 879. The closure and detour will be lifted each evening.
Crews from PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance will perform this work, which is weather-dependent. Work is expected to finish on or before Aug. 24. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated through the closure as necessary.
