Scrap Metal Theft Estimated at $5K

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – An incident of theft was reported at 7 a.m. Tuesday at a job site for the Northern Sun Coal Company in Woodward Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported.

A person(s) loaded two tons of scrap metal into a pick-up truck and fled the scene. The theft is estimated at $5,000 worth of scrap metal, state police said.
