- A 46-year-old White Pine Road woman reported Monday that someone took $550 in cash from her purse during a party at her house. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- The Pro Shop manager at the Silver golf course in Treasure Lake reported Monday that someone removed a flag that had been posted on the course.
- A false alarm was reported Monday at Big Lots.
- While on patrol in the vicinity of the Blinker Sheetz on Monday, police observed a vehicle speeding through the parking lot and almost hitting a pedestrian. The vehicle then fled the scene. Officers pursued the vehicle onto U.S. Route 322 and eventually pulled them over. Charges will be filed.
- A DuBois man reported Tuesday that he’d been forced off the road by an unknown man who then pulled over and verbally confronted him. The offender left when he saw another vehicle approaching.
- On Tuesday, police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Time To Bid Road. A 38-year-old man and his 31-year-old girlfriend engaged in a verbal argument. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Tuesday, a 41-year-old Treasure Lake man lost control of his vehicle on Clear Run Road, causing it to exit the road into a wooded area. The man then left the scene on foot. Officers located the man walking down Clear Run Road with minor injuries. Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor, and charges are pending.
- On Tuesday, a 40-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle, causing it to exit South Eig Street. Afterward, he impacted a tree. The man was flown to Altoona for treatment of his injuries. Alcohol is a suspected factor in the accident. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
