Hot Chelle Rae Rocks the Clearfield County Fair

Hot Chelle Rae, sponsored by the Toyota Concert Series, rocked the grandstand stage Tuesday night at the Clearfield County Fair.

Hot Chelle Rae performed songs from their album Whatever, such as “Beautiful Freaks,” “Tonight, Tonight,” “Honestly,” and “I Like it Like That.” Their high-energy performance had fans on their feet throughout the entire performance, singing along with their hands in the air.

The four-man pop quartet consists of Jamie Follese, Ryan Follese, Ian Keaggy and Nash Overstreet. As previously reported by GantDaily.com, Hot Chelle Rae’s time arrived with the band’s new album, which represents “an unstoppable fireball of radio-ready tunes that finds them embracing who they really are: a band unabashedly in love with pop music.”

Hot Chelle Rae also performed “Teenage Dream,” by Katy Perry and “Why Don’t You Love Me,” which Hot Chelle Rae performs with Demi Lovato, who they’ve been touring with the majority of the summer.

Recently, Hot Chelle Rae performed on The Today Show Summer Concert Series live from Rockefeller Plaza. Their album “Whatever” was released November 2011, and according to Hot Chelle Rae’s web site, they will be visiting county fairs across the country.

Hot Chelle Rae also sang a brand new song for the Clearfield County Fair crowd titled “Wish.” Also, front man Ryan Follese asked the audience if it was OK for them to “get a little Nashville on you?” when they played the first song the group ever wrote together, which was in the “emo” genre.

As the crowd filed out at the end of the concert, a chant for an encore began and Hot Chelle Rae returned to the stage and performed “Tonight, Tonight” again.
