Ethel Rauch, 81, of Madera died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Nov. 27, 1930, she was the daughter of Dimitri and Mary (Holobinko) Zazvrskey. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey.
She had been employed by the former Lloyd Manufacturing of Houtzdale.
Ms. Rauch is survived by three sons, Samuel Rauch and his wife, Mary of Sharon; David Rauch and his wife, Cindy of Belleville, IL; John Rauch and his wife, Judy of Madera and a daughter, Marie Rue and her husband, David of State College.
She is survived by six grandchildren, Keary and Samuel Rauch of Belleville, IL; Jason Rue of State College; Timothy Rauch of Madera; Benjamin and Hanna Rauch of Sharon and four great-grandchildren, Andrew Rauch of Sharon and Ethan Picard, Brodie and Killian Rauch of Belleville, IL.
Also surviving is a brother, George Zazvrskey of Hastings, two sisters-in-law, Terry Zazvrskey of Wilmette, IL and Mary Zazvrskey of Pittsburgh, an aunt, Mary Holobinko of Yardley and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Peter, Michael, John and Nicholas and a sister, Margaret Wenzel.
There will be no public visitation and services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
The Birger A Freeberg Funeral Home Inc, Houtzdale, is in charge of the arrangements.
