DUBOIS – A 62-year-old Rossiter man was flown for medical treatment following a motorcycle versus vehicle accident Sunday, the Sandy Township Police Department reported. Police didn’t indicate the extent of his injuries in the report.
A vehicle driven by a 76-year-old Dubois man turned into the path of a motorcycle driven by the Rossiter man. The DuBois man was attempting to enter the parking lot for the Snappy’s Convenience Store.
The two vehicles subsequently collided and the Rossiter man was ejected from his motorcycle. Then, the motorcycle became affixed to the front of the DuBois man’s vehicle.
The DuBois man was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
