CLEARFIELD – A missing girl was located after police and fire departments initiated a search at 12:21 a.m. this morning that spanned more than two hours in the area of Parker Road and the Glen Richey Highway, the Lawrence Township Police Department reported.
The girl came out of a wooded area to police and fire officials. She only suffered scrapes and scratches from running through the woods. These wounds were cleaned and treated at the police station.
She was released to her father.
Police were assisted by the Curwensville Borough Police Department and the Hyde and Glen Richey fire departments.
