Police Report: STPD

July 11, 2012

Officers received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Behringer Highway. The vehicle fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival.

Employees of Central Catholic School reported someone smashed out a glass pane at the bottom of a back door.  It did not appear that the offenders entered the building.

A 28 year old DuBois man reported that he had taken his vehicle into Monroe Muffler for repairs.  When it was finished the technician backed the vehicle out of the garage and hit the side of the building.  When the technician tried to apply the brakes the vehicle kept going and hit another vehicle in the parking lot.  No injuries reported.

A 38 year old Falls Creek man reported that while he was in Lowe’s a known man came up to him and tried to instigate a fight.  He reported that this is an ongoing issue with the man.  Officers handled the situation without incident.

July 12, 2012

A Circle Road resident reported that his neighbor was stealing electric from him by plugging an extension cord into an outside outlet.  Charges are pending.

Officers received a report of 2 windows of an empty store front in the Commons Plaza were shot out.

A Bad Dog Road man reported that two juveniles climbed on a boat that was parked in his yard and took 2 life vests.  Investigation continues.
