- An incident of harassment occurred at 2 p.m. Wednesday along Patty Lane in Pike Township. A 49-year-old Curwensville man and a 53-year-old Clearfield man allegedly directed harassing text messages toward a 37-year-old Curwensville woman. The accused men also allegedly made harassing phone calls to the victim on numerous occasions. Charges of harassment have been filed through the district court.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 7:21 a.m. July 8 along state Route 879 at its intersection with Mosquito Creek Lane in Karthaus Township. Katie R. Hess, 19, of Myerstown was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle. Her vehicle then traveled onto the northern berm of SR 879 and struck the guiderails. She’ll be cited for careless driving, according to state police. She and her passenger, Kirsche E. Hess, 25, of Myerstown were wearing their seatbelts. State police were assisted by the Karthaus Fire Company.
