- A Brookville man reported that someone took his wallet which had fallen out of his vehicle in the Lowe’s parking lot.
- A 46 year old Watson Highway woman reported that a known 49 year old DuBois man was trespassing on her property after being sent a no trespass notice. Officers located the man and handled the situation without incident.
- An 18 year old DuBois man failed to stop in time to avoid hitting a stopped vehicle on East DuBois Avenue at Commons Drive, causing a chain reaction involving a total of 4 vehicles. No injuries reported and one of the vehicles was towed.
- Employees of Petco reported a woman came to the register and paid for 4 items with a $50 bill. The cashier handed her back her change and the woman turned around to leave, then went back to the cashier stating she got the wrong change. The cashier gave her what she asked for. After reviewing the video of the transaction, it was determined that the woman pocketed the original change. The investigation continues.
July 7, 2012
- A 38 year old DuBois woman was charged with retail theft after she was caught taking $72.85 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.
- A 20 year old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle on Lincoln Drive, causing it to crash into a tree head on. The man then left the scene. Officers located the man in an unoccupied house on Lincoln Drive, with moderate injuries. He was transported to DRMC by ambulance, and DUI charges are pending.
- A false alarm was reported at Miller Brothers.
- A Treasure Lake resident reported someone drove through his yard causing damage to the landscaping and breaking a flag pole.
- A 20 year old DuBois man reported that a gold mini van backed into his vehicle while it was parked at the Cayman Lodge causing minor damage, then left the scene. The van was then later reported to be back in the parking lot. Officers found the driver and handled the situation without incident.
- Officers responded to Bimini Beach in Treasure Lake for a report by Treasure Lake Security of 6 men consuming alcohol on the beach. The men were giving security a hard time. The men were cooperative with police and the situation was handled without incident.
- A false alarm was reported at Sarvey Notary.
July 8, 2012
- Treasure Lake Security reported several individuals trespassing in the pool area on Ski Lodge Road. Upon arrival officers located all the individuals involved and all will be charged with disorderly conduct.
- A 21 year old New Wilmington man was seen by officers drive into a yard onLaurel LaneinTreasureLake, causing damage to the landscaping. The man was given several field sobriety tests which he failed. He was transported to DRMC for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending.
- A false alarm was reported at Burger King.
- A 67 year old Penfield man backed his vehicle out of a parking space at Snappy’s and hit a vehicle driven by a 30 year old Morrisdale man. Minor damage and no injuries reported.

- A Treasure Lake resident reported damage to a fence post in her yard.
- Two tractor trailers had a minor accident in the Pilot parking lot.
- A false alarm was reported at Dollar General.
