In St. Marys, Camping Trailer Fire Ruled Arson

ST. MARYS – A camping trailer fire, which occurred at 11:32 p.m. Monday on North St. Marys Street, has been ruled arson and remains under investigation at this time, according to the Ridgway-based state police.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal, the St. Marys City Police Department and the Crystal Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire destroyed a 1999 Coleman camping trailer that was parked in the residential driveway of Michael Scolari of St. Marys. Scolari owned the trailer.

The fire was ruled an arson and remains under investigation at this time. Damage has been estimated at $6,000. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
