Houtzdale Teen Drowns in Wopsononock Pond

GULICH TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based state police are continuing its investigation into an accidental drowning that occurred at 2:27 p.m. Saturday at the Wopsononock Pond on Cambria Street in Gulich Township.

State police said rescue divers discovered Dylan Scott Keith, 19, of Houtzdale deceased in the pond. He was pronounced dead by Clearfield County Coroner Michael Morris.

The Ramey, Curwensville, Grampian and East Taylor Jackson fire departments and emergency medical service units assisted at the scene. The Curwensville and East Taylor Jackson water rescue teams provided divers.
