Obituary Notice: Leslie J. Boulton

Leslie J Boulton, 87 of Houtzdale died July 2, 2012 at his residence.

He was bornMarch 19, 1925 in Houtzdale the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Jones) Boulton.

Leslie served with the United States Army during WW II as a Corporal in Battery A Field Artillery Battalion 772.

He was employed as a sprinkler fitter until his retirement and was a member of the 669 Pipe Fitters Unionfor 60 years.

Leslie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Houtzdale, Stephen Kandrach Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 6321, Smithmill,  the Houtzdale American Legion Freeberg Post #591, Knight Booster Club and the Morann Citizens Club.

OnSeptember 9, 1955 he married his wife of 56 years, Cora (Huber) Boulton who survives at home.

He is survived by the following children, Linda Laskowsky and her husband Richard of Evans City, Martha Turner and her husband Donald of Holtwood, Leslie Boulton and his wife Leslie of New Windsor, NY, David Boulton and his wife Ricki of Ramey, Randy Boulton and his wife Beverly of Philipsburg, John Boulton and his wife Becca of Fredericksburg, VA, Tracy Long and her husband Gordon of Millersville, and Krista Lewis and her husband Douglas of New Holland.

Leslie is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, one step-great-great-grandchild, a sister-in-law Cleda Boulton of Gaithersburg, MD and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Arthur, James, Richard, Edward, Robert, and David, two sisters,Pearland Catherine.

Funeral Service will be heldFriday July 6, 2012at11:00 amat the First Presbyterian Church in Houtzdale with the Rev. Thomas McCoy officiating.

Interment will follow in the American Legion Cemetery, Brisbin with Military Honors conducted by the Houtzdale American Legion Honor Guard.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and7-9 p.m. Thursday.
