- Police investigated a two-vehicle accident on Maple and Second Streets in Philipsburg Borough. An 85-year-old Philipsburg woman was traveling east on Maple Street, approaching Second Street. Freda L. Thompson was traveling south on Second Street. The 85 year old failed to yield right-of-way at the stop sign, striking Thompson’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Citations on pending on the 85 year old.
