- On Wednesday, officers received reported someone contact them for services and the vehicle appeared to have been in an accident. Upon speaking to witnesses, officers determined that the vehicle was owned by a 23-year-old Sykesville woman. It had been in an accident near Hanzely’s Nursery and was driven into their parking lot by a man who told them not to call police. The investigation is continuing at this time.

- A 41-year-old DuBois woman reported Thursday that someone called her place of employment and falsely reported that she had been convicted of various crimes, causing her to be suspended. She suspected it may be related to a custody dispute with her son’s father.
- A West Long Avenue resident reported Thursday that she was being harassed by her 33-year-old estranged boyfriend. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Thursday, officers received a report of a Circle Road resident shooting off fireworks. Officers located and warned the offender.
