The 152nd Clearfield County Fair features another outstanding Grandstand Entertainment lineup. The Toyota Concert Series kicks off on July 31st with Hot Chelle Rae, one of the hottest young bands out there. Hot Chelle Rae’s time has arrived with the band’s new album, “WHATEVER: — an unstoppable fireball of radio-ready tunes that finds them embracing who they really are: a band unabashedly in love with pop music.
Experience the best kept secret in American Rock on August 2, at the Clearfield County Fair as The Clarks take center stage. With over 300,000 Albums sold and sell-out venues that seat in the thousands, they have shown they are more than a regional favorite. TheClarks are an American rock band that have somehow managed to stay together for 20+ years, support themselves through their music, and remain relative unknowns. The festivity will begin with Chris Higbee. Many may recognize the name from the Poverty Neck Hillbillies (PNH). Higbee founded PNH who delivered uniquely wild and energetic concerts across the county on stages, rooftops and anything else he could fathom a way to play from!
Aug. 2 features The Band Perry. Siblings Kimberly, Reid, and Neil Perry, who inherited a cross-pollinated love of country and rock & roll from their parents, – say that they bleed the bright red blood of American music. The three have always felt the drive to perform and create music, sweating out the summers inMobile,Alabama playing in any dusty roadhouse or church that would have them.
Closing out fair week on Aug. 2, Twisted Sister with guests Great White and Jac & Jill will rock the fairgrounds. Twisted Sister’s most well-known hits include “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock“, both popularized in the USA by regular airplay on MTV in the 1980s. Twisted Sister is also ranked No.73 in VH1’s 100 greatest artists of hard rock.
Tickets have been available online since April. Beginning July 2, the Ticket Window and phone lines will open. All concert tickets purchased prior to July 7 include gate admission. Also available at the Ticket Window is the Advance Gate Only Pass for $5; the Advance Gate & Ride Pass for $7; and the Family Value Special – (6) admissions for $25. The advance passes will be available until July 29.
