- An incident of retail theft occurred at 2:29 a.m. Saturday at Wal-Mart in Fox Township. A person(s) removed numerous items and deprived the store of possessions without paying the full retail value. Then, they fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. June 15 and 12 p.m. June 16 in the Highland Hotel parking lot in Highland Township. A person(s) removed a Newton Falls, OH man’s registration plate from his 2011 Chevrolet truck, while it was parked there. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
- An incident of DUI occurred at 9:16 p.m. Saturday along state Route 255 in Jay Township. A 20-year-old Kersey man was stopped for a traffic violation and provided state police with a false name. He was subsequently arrested for DUI, false identification to law enforcement, underage drinking and numerous summary traffic violations. He was transported to the Elk Regional Health Center for blood testing, which indicated his blood-alcohol content was over the legal limit. Charges will be filed through the district court.
