DuBois Community Days Wraps Up with Fireworks, Antonio Brown

DUBOIS – The 2012 DuBois Community Days concluded Saturday with the annual traditional fireworks show.

Saturday saw some new entertainment that wasn’t otherwise available Friday.  Starting off the day was the Power Bench Pressing Competition’s return at 9:00 a.m.  For the first time ever, a live talk show was hosted at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater between Pittsburgh Steeler Antonio Brown and WPXI Sports Reporter Alby Oxenreiter  Both stayed to participate in the parade that kicked off 5 p.m.

Curious George walked through the park and there was a hula hoop show, Hopp Artistry with Aryelle, in the afternoon leading up to the parade.  Near the end the parade there were the mentalists Larry and Raven, a husband and wife team, performing feats and palm readings.  They were followed up by the comedian Michael Kent.  BaXnd, from Atlanta, rocked the grove from 8:30 till the firework display.
