He was born on May 19, 1959 in Pensacola, FL a son of the late Raymond Alexander and Lois Louise (Rutherford) Herrington .
Curtis was employed by Wagman Construction, Co. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Curtis also enjoyed collecting antiques and renovations, including working to renovate his own home. He always loved to visit Gatlinburg, TN and taking trips through the Smoky Mountains. Curtis will be remembered as a gentle man and being able to make a friend wherever he went.
He was a member of St. Agnes Church of Shepherdstown, WV.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Marino) Herrington whom he wed October 21, 1997 in Gatlinburg, TN; two sisters and a brother, Gayle Toth of Prattville, AL, Raymond Herrington Jr. and wife Lynda of Millbrook, AL and Sharon Wade and husband Don of Deatsville, AL; a father-in-law Joseph Pete Marino of Clearfield; two sister-in-laws KK Marino of State College and Gina Harasti and husband Tracy of Arnold, MD; four brother-in-laws, Pete Marino and wife Debbie of Clearfield, Mike Marino and wife Cindy of Clearfield, Jim Marino and wife Joanne of Kensington, NH and Joe Marino of Clearfield; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sandra Thompson.
A Christian Blessing Service will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 – 10:00 a.m.
