Maxine Schram, 85 of Chester Hill passed away June 12, 2012, at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born July 13, 1926 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Harold Edgar “Tiny” & Blanche (Starline) Askey.
On Sept. 25, 1945 she wed John Herbert Schram, who passed away Jan. 16, 1993.

And several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Lois Jean Snyder.
She was a graduate of Philipsburg High School. She retired from the former Riverside Market in 1986 and has also worked at Morningstar Bakery and she was affiliated with the Baptist faith.
Funeral service will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg on June 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Scott Hartsock officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on June 14 from 6-9 p.m.
Due to family allergies, in lieu of flowers, memorials contributions in Maxine’s memory may be made to Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 317 Hemlock St., Philipsburg, PA 16866.
