He was born April 22, 1935, in Morrisdale, PA, the son of Wayne A. and Martha Jane (Shields) Hall.
Mr. Hall graduated from the Clearfield Area High School.
He was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Hall retired as an iron worker.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sons of the American Legion, Italian American Progressive Club, The Bradford Vets Club, Loyal Order of the Moose and the Chicago 42nd Street Club.
Mr. Hall is survived by four children; Robert L. Hall, Jr. and his wife Linda of Clearfield, Jodi Stanley and her husband Bobby of Ocean Isle, NC, Michele Billotte and her husband Thomas of Clearfield and Suzette Wise and her husband Craig of Clearfield, ten grandchildren; Launcelot Soult IV, Coty Soult, Shay Potter, Robert L. Hall III, Anthony Hall, Monica Billotte, Alex Billotte, Taylor Wise, Chase Wise all of Clearfield and Matthew Hall of Fredericksburg, VA, seven great grandchildren; Launcelot Soult V, Madison Soult, Lydia Soult, Sierra Malloy, Cooper Malloy, Jena Soult and Mason Potter, a sister, Janet Marsh of Bigler and his companion, Dee Dee Cooley, formerly of Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jason Merritt, a sister, Vivian Woodring and her husband Clayton and a brother-in-law Delbert Marsh.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on June 14 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John F. White officiating. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Kylertown, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on June 13 from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the services.
