Busted: Juveniles Facing Charges for Smoking Synthetic Marijuana

CLEARFIELD – A number of juveniles are in hot water after they admitted to smoking synthetic marijuana.

The Lawrence Township Police Department reported that officers from the LTPD and Clearfield Borough Police Department responded to a call for 10 kids passing around a pipe and smoking something. Police detained nine juveniles and one adult; the adult was on probation. Police said seven of the nine juveniles admitted to smoking K-2, a synthetic marijuana, which is illegal in Pennsylvania. Police said they were all under the influence to some degree.

All involved were released to a parent or guardian and charges are pending.
