Shaw Public Library to Hold Inaugural Fundraising Event

CLEARFIELD – The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library would like to announce the upcoming inaugural “Adopt A Book Fundraiser Event” to be held on June 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Library, 1 S. Front St. in Clearfield.

Event coordinators invite the public to stop by the library during event hours to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of music, wine tasting, and the opportunity to purchase a book in memory or in honor of a loved one. Light refreshments will be served.
Vendors for the event include: Bee Kind Winery, Ethan’s Cafe, Express Cafe, and Sweet Art Bakery.  The afternoon’s music will be provided by Zaneth Casteel, Megan McGarry, and Clearfield Area High School musicians.

“We are so pleased to have the support of these local businesses and individuals,” stated Paula Collins, library director. “Their generosity and cooperation have helped to make this event possible.”

The Shaw Public Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Fridays from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.  For questions about the “Adopt A Book Fundraiser Event”, please visit the library or call (814) 765-3271.  Additional information can also be found on Shaw Public Library’s Web site.
