You can nominate someone or nominate yourself. There is a small $2.00 fee per each nomination. The final day to make a nomination will be July 13, 2012. After all nominations are received, we will collect a brief write-up and photo of each nominee. The photos and bio’s will be displayed for the public at a selected location at the Clearfield County Fair starting July 29 through noon on Aug. 2. A can will be provided for each nominee and the person in each age division collecting the most donations will be recognized as 4-H royalty at the 4-H and FFA Awards Ceremony & Hoe Down on the evening of August 2.
This contest should be a fun endeavor and a new opportunity for 4-H and will serve three primary objectives:
- Increase awareness of the 4-H & FFA programs
- Recognize our current & past 4-H & FFA members for their involvement & dedication to the programs.
- Raise money for the 4-H & FFA programs and be able to provide scholarships to youth in need.
