According to the state police in Clearfield, Ryan M. Gaines was traveling north when he lost control of his Ford Explorer as he rounded a left curve. The vehicle traveled across the southbound lane and up an embankment. The vehicle went about 50 feet before traveling down the embankment and overturning on the roadway.
Police said Gaines suffered major injuries. Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services responded and Gaines was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center.
